The chapel is on the right hand side as you come in the main doors. You can sit anywhere. Everything you need to follow and join in the service will be on the projection screen at the front. You do not need to bring anything with you, but there is an opportunity in each service to give money for the work of the church (offertory) if you would like to contribute.
Each service lasts for about an hour. At the end of each service there is tea and coffee available in the hall and you are welcome to stay and talk and get to know people.
At St Peters and Emmaus everyone is welcome to share in the bread and the wine - Eucharist/Communion. Services alternate between being lead by an Anglican Priest and a Uniting Church Minister. Usually people come to the front to take Eucharist/Communion. If you are unable to come to the front the Priest/Minister and server can come to you. If the service is being led by an Anglican Priest you can have a wafer dipped in wine or a wafer only. If the service is being led by a Uniting Church Minister you will be offered a wafer and then a tiny glass of grape juice In either case you consume it it straight away. If you don’t want the bread and wine but would like a blessing come to the front and cross your arms over your chest. You do not have to take the Eucharist/Communion if you don’t want to.
Kids are very welcome at our services. Don’t worry if kids make a noise or wriggle about – we know that’s just what they do. There is colouring and stuff for kids in the back corner of the chapel.
